Apple is moving to Intel? \u00a0It’s a sad day for so many reasons. \u00a0I’ve\u00a0scratched my head in bewilderment at many of Apple’s crazy moves in\u00a0the past, and those crazy moves have turned out okay. \u00a0I don’t see how\u00a0this one can amount to anything more than a kick in the nuts to Mac\u00a0users though.<\/p>\n

PowerPC was a great architecture, and competition with it gave Intel a\u00a0reason to make their processors better. \u00a0More importantly, it\u00a0prevented Windows users from installing OS X, thereby depriving Apple\u00a0of its important hardware business.<\/p>\n

Here’s to the boring ones.<\/em>
\nThe bland.<\/em>
\nThe tedious.<\/em>
\nThe vapid.<\/em>
\nThe square pegs in the square holes.<\/em>
\nThe ones who can’t see further than the ends of their noses.<\/em><\/p>\n

They’re fond of rules.<\/em>
\nAnd they worship Status Quo.<\/em>
\nYou can yawn at them, agree with them, forget them,<\/em>
\ngo along with them or be forced to accept them.<\/em>
\nAbout the only thing you can’t do is have an alternative.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because they keep things the same.<\/em>
\nThey stagnate. They hold back. They fester.<\/em>
\nThey decline. They expire.<\/em>
\nThey hold the human race back.<\/em><\/p>\n

Maybe they have to be boring.<\/em>
\nHow else can you stare at Vin Diesel and see art<\/em>
\nOr listen to Britney Spears and hear beautiful music?<\/em>
\nOr gaze at another country and want to conquer it?<\/em><\/p>\n

We make tools for these kinds of people.<\/em>
\nWhile some see them at the boring ones, we see them as a ticket to a\u00a0fat back hander.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because the people who are boring enough to the think they can\u00a0hold the world back, are the ones who inherit the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n
