Pascal

45RPM Software was founded by Pascal Harris. He used to earn his living as a software developer but, since being promoted to Development Manager, he now programs in his spare time just for the joy of coding.

Before being paid to manage, he was paid to code in C, C++ (although his C++ bears more resemblance to C than anything else), PL/SQL, Pascal, and even APL was not unknown. He developed for VMS, Unix (and Linux) and Windows - but, oddly enough, not for the Mac! Pascal hand crafts HTML and PHP (using Espresso, and BBEdit - two very good reasons to own a Mac!). Most of all though, he likes to code in Xcode using Objective C.

In 2012 Pascal was privileged to win an industry award, a Network Hero, for his work on a high performance network forensics system.

In addition to programming, Pascal is interested in graphic design, photography, travel, cycling and running, triathlon, politics and history. His spare time is occupied by family, graphic design and painting. Being a fully paid up MAMIL, what little time is left over gets used for riding bicycles, running and triathlons. He's not fast, and it isn't a pretty sight, but the sense of achievement is addictive.

Sarah

The business brains are provided by our Business Director, Sarah Harris. Whenever Pascal makes a bad business decision, Sarah sets us straight. If the horse has bolted, Sarah is the one to round it up again and, if possible, firmly lock the stable door.
